About Us
The M-CM Network is a not-for-profit 501(c) (3) organization that was founded in 2010 through a team effort between families and the medical genetics community. Our goals are to:
- Raise awareness among families and the medical community
- Provide the most comprehensive and up-to-date medical information regarding M-CM through our website and other media resources
Our ultimate fundraising goals are to start a disease registry and biobank. Our hopes are that such an endeavor will result in:
- A better understanding of the natural history of M-CM
- Clear and comprehensive medical management guidelines
- Improved quality of life for affected individuals and their families
- The discovery of the cause of M-CM
